Wedding

The concept of a wedding has evolved significantly over centuries, reflecting cultural, religious, and societal changes. In ancient times, marriages were often arranged to secure alliances between families or tribes. This practice was common in many civilizations, including those of Ancient Egypt, Greece, and Rome.

With the advent of the 19th century, weddings became more romanticized, partly due to the influence of literature and the royal weddings that captured public imagination.

In the 20th century, weddings underwent further transformation with the rise of consumer culture.

Today, weddings continue to be deeply personal and culturally significant events.

As I look to the future, weddings are increasingly becoming platforms for sustainability and inclusivity. Additionally, there is a growing trend towards celebrating diverse love stories, with ceremonies that honor various cultural backgrounds, gender identities, and expressions.

Weda and I tied the knot on June 24, 2024, in a significant and elegant ceremony. We extended our celebrations with a reception at the renowned Griya Taksu Kemenuh on June 28, 2024. It's our heartfelt wish that all guests, including ourselves, found the occasion delightful.

This special day marks the start of our shared life journey as a couple and as a new family unit.
